Little Village is a directing collective led by Mike Malagon and Campbell Brewer. The two got their start shooting in challenging locations around the world which has made them into the versatile filmmakers they are today. Like a Swiss army knife, you’ll be glad to have them in your pocket for just about anything. Their ability to problem solve on the fly makes them uniquely positioned to handle modern day productions.
Their style shows an appreciation for story, the outdoors and adventure. This can be seen in their work for clients like Patagonia, Airbnb and Southwest Airlines. They’ve shot nomads in Mongolia, followed Mountaineers up the high Sierras and rode camels with Bedouin tribes through Wadi Rum. They go where most prefer not to.
The name Little Village was born out of the thinking that it takes communities of people to build something great, big or little. This couldn’t be more true for production. It’s why they’ve curated a talented pool of producers, cinematographers and editors who share their same enthusiasm and general style. So grab a spot next to the fire and settle in. You’ll be part of their community in no time.
